NSUK inaugurates the operational boards of the Amina Mohammed Centre for Climate Change
The Board of Trustees, the Advisory Board and the Academic Board were inaugurated together at the Council Chamber, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, on Monday 30 June 2025.
The three operational boards of the Amina Mohammed Centre for Climate Change — the Board of Trustees, the Advisory Board and the Academic Board — were inaugurated together on Monday 30 June 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, gave the welcome address and declared the Advisory and Academic Boards inaugurated. The Director of the Centre, Prof. Olumuyiwa J. Jayeoba, set out the Centre’s mission — AM3C as a regional hub for climate science, education and innovation.
Goodwill messages were delivered by HRH the Emir of Nasarawa (represented by Dr. Ishaku Mohammed), the Nasarawa State Commissioners for Environment, Agriculture and Women Affairs, and Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University, Karu. The Registrar of NSUK, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, gave the vote of thanks.
